I started this site to share the things I wish someone had told me before I left: where to stay, what is actually worth the money, how a place feels, and how to travel alone without feeling like you have to become somebody else.

My seven-month solo trip through Southeast Asia became one of the best seasons of my life—the stretch of time when I felt most at peace with who I was and remembered why I started traveling in the first place.
